Al Lubel

Al Lubel became a lawyer to please his mother, then a comedian to displease her. Early in his career, he performed unannounced in restaurants, winning over audiences with his unexpected style. He won Star Search’s $100,000 Grand Prize and performed on The Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, as well as The Late Show with David Letterman.
